The CMS Development Team began with the Computer Science, CSC 532, Class Fall of 2006 at Louisiana Tech University developing a project for monitoring and managing a cluster under Dr. Chokchai (Box) Leangsuksun.

 

Since that time, one of the students from that class, Matt Rice, decided to take the Cluster Management System to the next level improving the Graphical User Interface to be more “User Friendly” as well as rebuilding the backend modules which drive the application, the database and the engine.

 

The Cluster Management System was adopted for a Practicum project for Mr. Rice while working on his Master’s Degree under Dr. Box at Louisiana Tech University.
