IPM "IPMI Based Power Management" is an open source project based on IPMI for monitoring and managing systems from a single point of control. IPMI stands for Intelligent Platform Management Interface. Systems that are IPMI enabled can be used to control and monitor systems even when the machine is turned off, but has to be plugged. IPM provides power controls like powerup, powerdown, reset, identify and polls current sensor values and provides an interface to change sensor thresholds.
