Architecture

Our initial version supports Active/Hot standby HA features at the head
nodes. Active/Active multi-heads architecture will be released in a near
future. In addition, critical resources and services (i.e. MAUI scheduler,
PBS daemon, critical file systems, various other services) are monitored
and handled by an adaptive recovery agent in an outage situation. HA OSCAR
is created based on Open Source Cluster Application Resources (OSCAR) distribution.
We have leveraged existing OSCAR technology while providing for new high
availability capabilities in OSCAR built clusters.
