For a WLAN, the problem is to provide proper Authentication and also Roaming. The main objective is to allow valid users to get access to the same resources and network, no matter where they roam in a WLAN. We are trying to provide a central Authentication mechanism for all WLAN users.

Benefits:

• Instead of configuring the Access Point, which has hardware limitation we have a central database for all the users.
• By allowing a central database to locate all the users, we allow simple retrieval and configuration.
• This allows users to access the same resources from all the Access Points in a WLAN.
• The advantage of using LDAP server is that, the user information can also be used for other applications like employee search, e-mail account etc.

Facing a website, the users will try to find the pages that they are interested. How to make the exploring process easier? The objective is to find a method so that helpful links can be provided and the users can easily follow these links to reach the desired pages.
